Our approach

Safeguarding-sensitive journeys are planned using the booking, assistance and handover information reasonably required to transport the passenger safely. Drivers must maintain professional boundaries and follow recorded instructions.

• Passenger-specific information is shared only where operationally necessary.
• Safeguarding concerns are reported and escalated promptly.
• School and SEND work may require additional contract-specific checks, assistants or handover controls.

Assisted passenger journeys

CareRide is intended for non-clinical assisted private hire transport. It is not an ambulance, emergency service, clinical transport service or secure mental-health transport service.

Immediate danger

If a child, vulnerable adult or any passenger is in immediate danger, call 999. SwiftLane will cooperate with the appropriate authorities and licensing bodies where required.
